The 20th death anniversary of the late film and theatre director Jeassy was commemorated at the Aranmula Kidangannur Karunalayam Charitable Trust Auditorium on 11th April 2023. The event was inaugurated by Sri John Paul.
Dignitaries including Karunalayam Chairman Abdul Aziz, actor and director Alleppy Ashraf, former Travancore President M. Padmakumar, Supreme Court advocate Sivan Mathathil, poet Brinda Punalur, and actors Tony and Kabir extended their heartfelt tributes and greetings on the occasion.
As part of the programme, the residents of Karunalayam extended their Vishu greetings, and the Jeassy Foundation presented a Kerala Vishu Bumper Lottery ticket worth ₹10 crores (first prize category) to all the senior residents of the home, marking the day with joy and generosity.
